CSA Group currently operates its business using a Small Contractor Integrated Management System software and document package that was developed by the Civil Contractors Federation (CCF) to meet the national CCF Management Code. In an effort to continually improve the business CSA Group recently engaged HDQ Consulting to assist with further developing the business’s management system to meet the following standards;
– ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
– AS 4801 Safety Management Systems
– ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems
A critical part of delivering a quality product is achieved by careful planning and this begins with the development of our Security Management Plan. This plan is designed to give Security a resource that provides an overview of the contractual security requirements. The designed manual will have specified; Policies, Procedures, Site Instructions, licensing Requirements, Maps, Reporting and Recording Requirements (Form Templates). All Security Personnel during their Induction will be trained and assessed on the Security Contract Management Plan.
By developing a plan to monitor and control quality we can clearly identify areas of services that require extra attention and ensures that all client’s needs are met and or service is delivered to industry best practice.
CSA Group is mindful that our daily operation has an effect upon our environment. In an effort to continually improve, CSA Group recently engaged HDQ Consulting to assist with further developing the business’s management system to meet the following environmental standard ISO 14001
Our goal is to achieve ISO 14001 Certification and this will allow us to:
- Establish an environment management system to measure and monitor operational activities with significant environmental impact.
- Further eliminate or minimise the impact of our work activities and products on the environment while maximising the use of recyclables and reusable materials and adopting where possible renewable energy sources.
- Develop an educational program for our staff that will help teach, promote and encourage them to be proactive in minimising waste, preventing pollution and using resources efficiently within our workplace.
We already have established the following procedures within our work place:
- We have installed shared printers and promote the use of emails and electronic formatted information.
- We promote the use of environmentally friendly paper and re-cycling to manage waste production.
We strive to reduce building operating costs and energy consumption by the effective use of technology to reduce our energy consumption.
